We are thrilled to announce the commencement of the 2023-2024 academic year and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the UCLA Center for Jewish Studies. Over the past three decades, the Leve Center has emerged as a pillar of Jewish scholarship and education, offering exceptional academic programming and fostering a vibrant community of scholars and students.
Distinguished Academic Offerings
The Leve Center's academic programs span both graduate and undergraduate levels, providing students with comprehensive knowledge in Jewish history, literature, religion, and culture. The Master of Arts program in Jewish Studies offers a specialized approach to Jewish studies, preparing students for careers in research, academia, and community engagement.
Holocaust Studies and Prevention
The Leve Center has a longstanding commitment to Holocaust studies and prevention. Since 1993, the center has hosted conferences, workshops, and research projects that delve into the history and impact of the Holocaust.
