Dream Theater Celebrate 40th Anniversary on North American Tour

Progressive Metal Pioneers to Embark on 26-Date Tour

Dream Theater, one of the most influential progressive metal bands of all time, are celebrating their 40th anniversary with a massive North American tour. The tour will kick off on October 20th in Phoenix, Arizona, and will wrap up on November 22nd in Los Angeles, California. The band will be playing a mix of their classic hits and new material from their latest album, "A View from the Top of the World".

Dream Theater was founded in 1985 by John Petrucci, John Myung, Mike Portnoy, Kevin Moore, and Chris Collins. The band quickly gained a following for their complex and technical style of metal, which incorporates elements of classical music, jazz, and fusion. Dream Theater has released 15 studio albums, four live albums, and several DVDs. They have won numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards.

The upcoming tour will be Dream Theater's first major tour since the release of "A View from the Top of the World" in 2021. The band is excited to be back on the road and playing for their fans. "We're so grateful for the support of our fans over the past 40 years," said Petrucci. "We can't wait to see you all on tour!"
